If, by chance, you were one of the interior design professionals who didn’t make it to cast your vote for “Design and Desserts” in June, perhaps you might care to see the delightful confection put together by Valerie Ribeiro and the team at Serendipite.
Given a beautiful inspiration piece from Cosentino (available at The Stonemill Design Center at Trendy Surfaces), visitors were treated to a vision of a space accented by spun sugar in the lights and frosting used as grout!
“Taking on this challenge has been an inspiring and blissful opportunity to dream and really get creative collaborating with our industry’s finest professionals,” Ribeiro said. “My inspiration piece from Costentino — a creamy quartz slab — came to life as the wall tile for my vignette, created to replicate the sitting room where Jackie Onassis retired after dinner to enjoy dessert and champagne.”
